At Winter Fairs up and down the country the Southdowns left their mark, with breeders achieving success in all events at which the breed was represented.

The annual National Young Stars event will be held on the 20-21 August 2019 at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern. This show will yet again showcase the livestock industry’s future talent and feature over 150 competitors taking part.

More than forty members and friends attended the 2018 Field Day and AGM that took place this year at Mudchute City Farm on Saturday August 18th 2018.

The Worcester Premier Breeders’ Sale of Southdown sheep on Saturday 11th August saw a top price of 920gns for the pre-sale champion, a shearling ram, from the East Dean flock of D, S & P Humphrey, Chichester, West Sussex.

The 2018 National Southdown Show took place on June 15th at the Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern, Worcestershire.
